What Broke Libertarianism?
At heart, I’m very much a libertarian.
Given that, I was dismayed how NZ’s ACT party, (the nearest we have to a Libertarian party), just rolled over and just went with the flow.
Not a word of protest about mandates, lockdowns or anything.
They even suggested we bypass Medsafe (NZ’s health authority) and just approve vaccines for kids.

New Beginnings
We have started planting out our new orchard with an assortment of fruits and vegetable’s
This isn’t because I’m some sort of vegan, but about building resilence into our live’s, since we aren’t sure where world events could take us in the future.
If you need to ask ‘why?’ I will simply point you to how things went during the covid years in NZ.
One might say ‘Oh, but thats in the past’.
Perhaps it is, but the mindset and some of the conditions for mass hysteria are still out there.
Namely,
- Many socially isolated people living in the absense of community and social ties
- A large number of people experiencing a lack of meaning in their lives.
- Many waves of free-flowing anxiety washing over society
- Widespread psychological and social dissatisfaction.
