What Forgiveness Is Not by Mollie Engelhart at Brownstone Institute Last week, we hosted our monthly Brownstone Institute Supper Club at Sovereignty Ranch. Our guest speaker was Mikki Willis, producer of Plandemic, The Great Awakening (Plandemic 3), and several other films that became touchstones for millions of people trying to make sense of the Covid-19…
A brown skua — a long‑range scavenging seabird known for travelling thousands of kilometres across the Southern Ocean — was found dead on Petone Beach, roughly **12 km** from Victoria University of Wellington.
Laboratory testing confirmed the bird carried H5N1 avian influenza.
Victoria University of Wellington has recently been involved in **influenza A surveillance research**, including detection of **H1‑lineage influenza viruses** in New Zealand wildlife.
This means the first confirmed case of H5N1 in New Zealand occurred within close proximity to a university conducting research on **the same family of influenza viruses**.
In short, a scavenger bird just happened to arrive within about 12km of a University that just happened to be researching the precise disease this bird died from!
And its got to this…
The bird flu response machine has kicked into gear in New Zealand, despite the crisis remaining largely hypothetical. Following two H5N1 detections using PCR tests in wild birds found dead, pandemic preparedness measures are being rolled out including native bird vaccination programmes. Five hundred thousand chickens have been put into lockdown and even the Penguin encounter at Wellington Zoo has now been restricted. However authorities say the virus has not spread to commercial poultry and there are no human infections, with the risk to the public considered low.
The prevailing explanation is that H5N1 arrived in migratory seabirds capable of flying thousands of kilometres between the subantarctic, Australia and New Zealand – a remarkable journey that has prompted questions about how an infected bird could be capable of travelling such a distance.
One of the few voices challenging what he described as the media hysteria surrounding bird flu has been Dr Hamish Campbell, who was interviewed by Chris Lynch Media this week. Dr Campbell, who holds a PhD in cancer and virus research, reminded the public that H5N1 has been circulating globally for around 30 years. Campbell said despite being around for decades we haven’t really seen human-to-human transmission, “I think some people think we are going to have another pandemic…this virus does seem to be well adapted to the bird population,” he said.
While Dr Campbell was urging perspective around the actual potential risks of H5N1, coverage elsewhere was busy highlighting other frontiers of concern – 1News turned its attention to the burning question across the nation: whether your household cat could be the next victim of bird flu.
The government and media’s approach has reignited debate over whether authorities are demonstrating sensible caution or whether the legacy of Covid has created a permanent preparedness mindset where worst-case scenarios drive decisions long before evidence points to a major threat.
The common excuse these days is ‘Oh, we didn’t know any better’
No one wants to admit they were wrong, it’s easier to ignore it and pretend it never happened.
One problem with that attitude is that the vaccine injured are in no mans land, and very few want to acknowledge them…
Veteran broadcaster Peter Williams spoke with US Open Golf Champion Michael Campbell. Campbell opened up about developing atrial fibrillation after his second Covid-19 vaccine and his deep frustration that no one in Government or the pharmaceutical industry has accepted responsibility. He was also highly critical of the mainstream media for perpetuating misinformation about the vaccine.

Yeah.. they still don’t want to admit that perhaps those anti-mandate protesters were right.
From the anti-mandate point of view though, it’s all very clear.
It starts with..
There’s a virus about apparently, and people are dying apparently, but I haven’t actually seen any dead bodies in the street like those fake photo’s from oversea’s.
There were lots of dramatic press headlines about people dying with covid. Every single storey was discredited a couple of weeks later, but that wasn’t front page news.
Ivermectin gets heavily discredited in the media (Ivermectin won a nobel peace prize). Arguably, this was done to push invermectin out of the way as a viable alternative to Pfizer so they get acceptance from the CDC to authorise the use of Pfizer under EUA rules (emergency use only)
Ivermecton cost @ $2 a shot, Pfizer cost @ $36…, you could have just followed the money to work out whats going on..
Wear a mask. This became the ‘in thing’ to do even though they dont work.
Fast forward a few months.. There’s a vaccination now ‘available’ . Amazing how 4 separate companies found a cure within a week of each other..
There’s a standown of 8 weeks between the first and second shot, then it became only four…
Pfizer only takes effect after a week after a week they said, then it became a month.
Everyone should get vaccinated (maximum profit) Yeah , really?, tell us again how unvaccinated people are a danger to the vaccinated then…
Thank you for trusting the science. Please await further updates, which may completely contradict today’s update.
