How covid turned me into a ‘conspiracy theorist’

Once upon a time, my wife and I were just your average parents raising their kids as best as they could. We brought a house near a good school, and we created a positive environment in which they could thrive. Our lives were centered around our kids. -they come first.

Then we had a weak immature woman elected as Prime Minister who the media just adored. She was quite manipulative and used any ‘disaster’ as a platform to further her popularity and power in much the same way as Hitler did in the 1940’s.

In hindsight, those disasters were perhaps a bit too convenient, given how they were used for political gain. This leads you to asking if they enabled that event to happen.

That may sound a bit far fetched, but remember that Hitler used the burning of the Reichstag (German Parliament) to bring in ’emergency powers ‘ the very next day.  (It’s now questionable who actually did it and why.)

Covid was just another disaster for that woman to use to keep boosting that stardom she adored, because, well you can never get enough, can you. To get everyone on the ‘in crowd’, you need to have some sort of ‘out crowd’ who are made the scrapgoats for any problem.

The scrapgoat was the unvaccinated, -the so called ‘river of filth’.

I never got vaccinated,  along with quite a few others, because I just didn’t see a good reason to. The narrative that I might infect a vaccinated person is nonsensicle -that was what the vaccine was for -right?

Needless to say, Schools got shutdown on a whim, Lockdowns happened for a single case of Delta (covid) My kids lives were put on hold just when they should be discovering that the world is their oyster, and that they can achieve anything if they put their mind and energy to it.

We formed our own support groups which still operate to this day. They are a mixture of religious people, alternative health people, and those that just saw through all the hype.

The one thing I got out of the whole sorry saga was a distinct sceptibility when it comes to any mainstream narrative on just about everything.

I’ve moved on from a well meaning positive belief in Government and  beaucracy to a ‘what nefarious self serving crap are they up to now?

A classic case of this is the Vietnam war BTW, where it’s now obvious that the President had told various lies, and that they knew it was an unwinnable war from the start.

Sometimes, the more you look, the more you notice that the emperor has no clothes. Other times simply following the money trail tells you everything you want to know.

So now I question EVERYTHING.

Some examples..

Is it really the Titanic sitting at the bottom of the Atlantic?. I don’t know, but the sister ship Olmypia was badly damaged in an incident with a Naval ship, and they subsquently lost a court case afterwards, -therefore no insurance… for that rather big boat.

Twin towers hit by a plane?. Dont know, I wasn’t there, maybe it’s as they say, maybe not.

Beware of covid……..Seriously!

Black nightshade -our  newest weed invasion

Where those mighty privet tree’s once stood, there is now a sea of Black Nightshade.  ( a weed that is poisonous to stock)

These require a brand new strategy to remove them.
I would rather not spray them, so that means pulling them out one by one..
It’s much easier though if you wait a bit of rain first, because then they come out so mush easier.

Also the neighbours appreciate our efforts heaps, so all good.

My response to part two of the Covid enquiry

I wrote this in such a way so that a 10 year old could understand,  and not be turned off because it reads like a rant.

‐————‐—————

How it affected us (a family of four with two teenagers)

  • Adverse effects of the vaccine were vehemently denied officially, and social media was extensively censored as part of that ‘war on covid’. I personally never had any adverse effects, but I regularly met people by chance who have/had  long term health issues, which happen to have started after the first or second covid vaccination. I have no reason not to believe what these people told me.

  • Schools closed at short notice. Our kids school simply wasn’t prepared, and they had next to no teaching for two terms  (We live in Auckland). It negatively effected kids social development.

  • Because of the  whimsical nature to the covid response, we home schooled our kids instead, rather than put their future in the hands of incompetence.

  • The sustained discrimination against the unvaccinated, convinced our kids that a university education wasn’t a good option anymore.

  • Employment in any Health service or the military, where it is still mandatory to have 2 covid vaccines, is no longer an option my kids will consider at this point.

  • Our relatives on my wife’s side ostracised us and pushed us away, my side of the family seemed OK like it was no big deal, but it felt awkward all the same, given the social stigma at the time.

  • We met lots of like minded people who agreed with us about the covid response, and they have effectively become our new family, and replaced those formally close relatives.

  • Government institutions, and private institutions who received government funding were now working against us, which led us away from trusting them.

  • It all felt like civilisation was falling apart.

Censorship and the silencing of opposing opinions

The consequences of all this, is our continuing lack of trust in any Government Department, which also includes any organisation that relies on Government funding, as they were practicing vaccine discrimination on behalf of the Government. (The Sports foundation for example)

The continuing harassment of health professionals who tried to raise the alarm regarding adverse effects (and have since been proven right), doesn’t instill a sense of trust in these establishments.

Rather, it shows these organisations to be somewhat unprofessional and vindictive, with an inability to learn from their mistakes.

Some examples are

  • Barry Young, the whistleblower with NZ Healthdata that shows adverse effects.
  • Dr Sam Bailey, a doctor with differing views to the Medical council, who are still effectively trying to cancel her.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the whole covid thing leaves us with a lack of trust of Government institutions and large corporates, partly because it’s possible it could happen again unless we acknowledge the mistakes of the past and move on to making New Zealand a nice place to be again.
