An update of sorts, moving on from covid

The covid ‘pandemic’ is basically over, except for the faithful few.

I’ve always been expecting Joe public to wake up to the fact that maybe they have been ‘had’. It’s taken me a while to realise that the big wake up isn’t going to happen, and this may be a blessing in disguise. If they ever wake up, they might realise that,

If they ‘woke up’ to these facts, perhaps they might be just a little bit pissed off about whats been happening for the last three years.
The last thing we need is lots of angry people out there.

Perhaps, therefore, having everyone asleep is a good thing, except that New Zealand has gone dramatically backwards in the last few years.

The government is likely to be re-elected later this year.
It’s not an ideal outcome for the good of the country, but if the majority are happy about where NZ’s going, so be it.

It does illustrate that politics can't fix NZ's problems. A possible answer lies in changing the NZ's culture towards one of accountibility and self responsibility.

It’s rather a bit like been on the Titanic and the other passengers aren’t concerned about any predicaments. Part of me thinks I should be concerned on their behalf, another part of me thinks I have no obligation to them. Therefore, I’m simply going to think and act locally only.

Hopefully this will be the last post I need to do on covid, since even the WHO has decided the pandemic is over

Thats all for now.

A remarkable begging letter from the NZ Defence forces

The letter below sort of speaks for itself and illustrates that they aren’t keeping staff.

The defences forces have had a tough couple of years. The present Government has an anti -military vibe about it, and defence staff got used as security for covid lockdowns, MIQ guards, etc.

Some staff got mandated out and lost their jobs. They went to court and won their case to get reinstated.

Only to have the army boot them out anyway in a show of pure vindictiveness…

Last year, no defence staff attended any ANZAC parades as another sign of pettyness.

All of this shows that it’s probably not a great environment to work in, hence the falling staff numbers.

Keeping Democracy alive in New Zealand

A newly released book explains why it’s such an important topic

“It is our desire and hope that the booklet will inspire open and mature discussions about what Co-Governance would mean for all Kiwis (the mainstream media are incapable of this).”

The current Government seems determined to destroy the ‘one vote for all’ democracy in New Zealand and replace with ‘Co-Govenance’. This would effectively mean some people will have more rights than others based on race.

One might ask ‘How is this not racist?’
