NZ’s  Covid inquiry

A covid enquiry has been quietly taking place here in NZ.

I say ‘quietly’, because no one seems interested in it apart from ‘Voices for Freedom’ and a few other groups.

With covid hysteria well and truly in the past, it seems most people dont want to think about it, least they bring back memories of stuff they really shouldn’t have done.

It would be hard nowadays to justify the all the óver the top actions

Below is the presentation from Voices for Freedom.

A few people have expressed interest in seeing the videos we shared with the Covid Inquiry commissioners the other week during our second meeting. Here you go! Check out the X thread:

Better Days

After the years of covid abuse, when unvaccinated folks were persecuted, ostracised from families, mandated out of jobs, etc.

Things are back to normal. ish…
Kids are welcomed back at soccer, where they were once excluded, jobs are available again, and the world is once again a more positive place to be.

There are issues of course, but their always is, isn’t there?

We still hang with the VFF (Voices For Freedom) crowd, partly because we know and trust these people that we have been thru hard times with.

It’s good that all that hysteria is mostly in the past because it just makes for a beautiful life. (Lets just ignore monkeypox)

Meanwhile, the after effects from those V things keep quietly happening….

Yeah, nothing to see there folks, just keep moaning about the price of butter or something.

To think that they once locked down a large city for a single case of covid delta, cause you might just save one life…

Lessons from covid hysteria

Civilisation is fragile, mass hysteria causes all sort of crazy stuff to happen.

Forever isn’t actually forever it seems, people move on, often without any reflection of their past actions.

A belief in God, a solid set of values, or just plain scepticism helped a lot of people see thru the scamdemic from the beginning.

There’s no telling who will crack when pressure is applied. Some that I thought were strong, lost the plot, others that looked weak and nervous held it together.

My 4th year with WordPress

Four years ago, the world was a different place.

New Zealand had decided to go to war against covid!

Covid propaganda was everywhere, and anyone questioning the narrative voices were silenced.
It was certainly a lesson of how 1940’s Germany came about, and how it could have been much worse, if it wasn’t for people standing up against the mandates.

(it’s notable that the killings started in Germany after opposition voices either gave up or were silenced somehow.)

It was a pretty dark time, and you simply lived day to day.

Nothing could be relied on -freedom of travel, the ability to go to work, pay the morgage, schools could, (and did) close at the drop of a hat.
I remember the relentless pressure to get vaccinated and still get routinely tested anyway. (I still don’t get the logic of that) , every radio would be blaring out ad’s every 5 minutes about covid. The ad’s were always very emotive and were changed every week or so.
Facebook in particular were been censored (The Government had access to facebook)

I could go on, but I’m sure you get the picture by now.

I wanted to record those times as accurately as I could, hence the reason for this blog.

A depressing moment for me, was how a police officer just dragged the NZ flag on the ground, after taking it off an anti-mandate protester at Wellington.

New Zealand today is a totally different place, hence this blog is now more about my life’s journey than anything else.

I can’t see myself closing this blog though, even if I have nothing interesting to write about, because I want to keep the memories of those times alive, least we forget, and make the same mistakes again.
