My response to part two of the Covid enquiry

I wrote this in such a way so that a 10 year old could understand,  and not be turned off because it reads like a rant.

‐————‐—————

How it affected us (a family of four with two teenagers)

  • Adverse effects of the vaccine were vehemently denied officially, and social media was extensively censored as part of that ‘war on covid’. I personally never had any adverse effects, but I regularly met people by chance who have/had  long term health issues, which happen to have started after the first or second covid vaccination. I have no reason not to believe what these people told me.

  • Schools closed at short notice. Our kids school simply wasn’t prepared, and they had next to no teaching for two terms  (We live in Auckland). It negatively effected kids social development.

  • Because of the  whimsical nature to the covid response, we home schooled our kids instead, rather than put their future in the hands of incompetence.

  • The sustained discrimination against the unvaccinated, convinced our kids that a university education wasn’t a good option anymore.

  • Employment in any Health service or the military, where it is still mandatory to have 2 covid vaccines, is no longer an option my kids will consider at this point.

  • Our relatives on my wife’s side ostracised us and pushed us away, my side of the family seemed OK like it was no big deal, but it felt awkward all the same, given the social stigma at the time.

  • We met lots of like minded people who agreed with us about the covid response, and they have effectively become our new family, and replaced those formally close relatives.

  • Government institutions, and private institutions who received government funding were now working against us, which led us away from trusting them.

  • It all felt like civilisation was falling apart.

Censorship and the silencing of opposing opinions

The consequences of all this, is our continuing lack of trust in any Government Department, which also includes any organisation that relies on Government funding, as they were practicing vaccine discrimination on behalf of the Government. (The Sports foundation for example)

The continuing harassment of health professionals who tried to raise the alarm regarding adverse effects (and have since been proven right), doesn’t instill a sense of trust in these establishments.

Rather, it shows these organisations to be somewhat unprofessional and vindictive, with an inability to learn from their mistakes.

Some examples are

  • Barry Young, the whistleblower with NZ Healthdata that shows adverse effects.
  • Dr Sam Bailey, a doctor with differing views to the Medical council, who are still effectively trying to cancel her.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the whole covid thing leaves us with a lack of trust of Government institutions and large corporates, partly because it’s possible it could happen again unless we acknowledge the mistakes of the past and move on to making New Zealand a nice place to be again.

An update on Barry Young, NZ’s covid whistleblower

Barry Young had discovered some alarming statistics, regarding adverse effects from the covid vaccine (mostly Pfizer).

He was in a position in NZ Health, where he had access to a vast amount of data during the covid vaccine rollout.

When he discovered some alarming statistics regarding adverse effects, he tried to raise the alarm, but no one would listen.

In the end he ‘leaked’ the data.

This sent NZ Health and the Government into a bit of a witchunt to persecute / prosecute Barry.

First they said it was ‘disinformation’ -how can that be when it’s their own data?

Then they said it was a ‘breach of privacy’ -It isn’t, the data was ‘anonmalised’ (you can’t identify anyone)

The court drama started..

Then delayed..

He was in court last week facing three lawyers alone, in a closed court session, with his supporters outside.

His latest video

It’s all a bit of a game really, because the Government cant afford the data to be presented as evidence.

At this point, they are proceeding towards a trial, likely in June.

So far, they have spent over 2 million in legal fee’s.

Meanwhile, copies of the data have been analysed oversea’s, where the NZ Government has no authority to stop them. (they tried anyway)

Barry has done some interviews, and comes across as someone with a high level of honesty and integrity.

An update about covid in NZ

Just about everyones moved on.
It seems like just about everyone just wants to forget like the last five years never happened, except those who got screwed over by the mandates.

This means the ongoing covid enquiry struggles with a lack of public feedback, plus the problem of unco-operative beaucracies that aren’t ready to acknowledge any mistakes made in the past.

So, basically, everything is ‘fine’ and ‘normal’ as long as you don’t mention the ‘C’ word too much.

It’s an inexplicable and exaspering situation to find yourself in, if you happen to have lost your job or house because of the mandates and lockdowns.

There is no redress.
It’s like you are just meant to shrug your shoulders and move on.
The problem with that is that I see it as a form of surrender.
It implicitly says it was OK and acceptable.

It wasn’t and isn’t. If you accept what happened with covid, would you do again for the bird flu (link), or whatever ‘crisis’ they come up with?

There has to be a point where you need to say no, and take control of your own life and not be a pawn in someone else’s game.

Pandemics have happened before, and covid wasn’t a serious one. (The Spanish flu killed a lot more)

New Zealand could simply have followed their pre -prepared pandemic plan.

P.S. it’s suspiciously fallen off the government website

In Conclusion

  • Sometimes you are right about an issue,
  • You take affirmative action to protest about it.
  • Everyone seems to hate you
  • The problem ‘goes’ away
  • There’s no acknowledgement that you were right.
  • It’s then like they hate you for been right, because that means they were wrong…
