Getting acquainted with our new geese

We found that Geese have a crap reputation with just about everyone we dealt with before we brought some.

Apparently, they are noisy,  crap everywhere, unfriendly and are just thoroughly unpleasant creatures.

That initially led us to having a negative attitude to them, which in hindsight, was rather unfair.

Our two pilgrim geese are a bit anxious to be sure, but after having to pick them up to move them, they rapidly calmed down and sat quietly in my arms. They never attempted biting or anything like that, which is what we were told would happen.

So in the interest of good relations, we spend some time with them  to let them get used to us. The cat even joined us as well…
