Last week, we reported that the Broadcasting Standards Authority (BSA) has attempted to claim jurisdiction over online platforms – sites like ours, where ordinary people post and share information.
If this is allowed to stand, anyone posting content online could be considered a “broadcaster” and placed under their authority.
Minister Paul Goldsmith reportedly said he’s happy to let this run its course through the courts.
Translation: make an example of one platform, force expensive legal battles, get a precedent and watch everyone else fall in line. That’s not justice, it’s intimidation.
The Pattern is Clear

Remember Dr Nikki Turner and our formal complaint to the BSA? As the public face of the Immunisation Advisory Centre, she openly encouraged experimental vaccination of pregnant women.
This violated fundamental medical ethics. Since thalidomide, pregnant women have been excluded from clinical trials due to potential risks to developing babies. Yet Turner promoted making them fair game for the vaccine industry without any meaningful safety data.
The BSA’s response was revealing. It ruled it was reasonable for TVNZ to rely on Turner’s “expertise”, backed by “medical consensus.” Never mind that her expertise didn’t extend to novel gene technology mRNA injections. Never mind that their “medical consensus” simply meant the Ministry of Health, Medsafe, and WHO.
It never questioned whether these organisations might be compromised or simply wrong but did note that a risk-beneift analysis would usually be undertaken for medical products. Turner never mentioned risks. She claimed it was “really, really more important for pregnant people to have this vaccine” and that is was “really safe for the mother and really safe for the foetus”.
No balanced information.
Just blind promotion with a huge conflict of interest hidden in the background.
The BSA failed to hold her accountable. It failed pregnant women and babies. Now the same authority wants expanded powers over online content. The irony is staggering and very sinister.
Is this the New Zealand we want?
The Measles Campaign Reveals Their Hand
Public health authorities are ramping up fear over measles. Wellington students and teachers are told to stay home without proof of two MMR doses.
Measles had always been a common childhood disease that healthy children breezed through – most people now over 55 have had it.
While no infection is risk-free or pleasant, measles is easily managed and can confer lifelong benefits, such as immunity, with some evidence for reduced ovarian cancer and cardiovascular disease.
So why is 1News reporting that measles is “more deadly than covid”?
Covid was clearly mild for most people (before mass vaccination!) and didn’t threaten the young, and yet they locked us down, mandated “vaccines” and suppressed actual treatments – now officials are saying measles is worse.
The government can’t have it both ways? This is ugly fear-mongering.

Like many other childhood infections, the measles death rate declined to virtually zero before the vaccine was invented due to improved sanitation and nutrition particularly from improved zinc and vitamin A status.
Yet public health authorities push two doses of the MMR vaccine by age 15 months, differing from manufacturer GlaxoSmithKline’s Priorix guidelines and its Medsafe datasheet.
And all this comes just as the changing health politics landscape in the US allows for the first time much of the concerning data on childhood vaccine safety to see the light of day.
Public health has become weaponised, as we have written about this week.
How can we trust these people?
What further measures will be instituted, and how many will comply this time?
What This Really Means
These isolated incidents seem almost coordinated.
The BSA covets jurisdiction over online content like ours, which could threaten pharma profits. The WHO is monitoring social media for “misinformation” and its International Health Regulations supersede national sovereignty – all this to create compliant populations who use the products facilitated by the state.
Profits over people.
When authorities decide what constitutes “misinformation”, they suppress truth itself. When they punish platforms for sharing unapproved information, free society ends, and corporatocracy begins.

Yes, laws are broken with impunity. But we document and challenge anyway.
Because every overreach brings more people into awareness.
Every heavy-handed response proves our point. Every legal inconsistency exposes the agenda. We’re building a record for when the truth is ready to be heard.

1. Send an OIA request about the BSA decision
Ask about the legal basis for claiming jurisdiction over online platforms. We’ve sent one asking how we ended up on a list of broadcasters in their drop-down box. Add your own voice.
2. Share this information widely
Forward this email. Talk to your neighbours about overreach. The more people who understand, the harder it becomes to implement.
3. Support platforms under attack

4. Document everything
Screenshot policies. Save articles. Keep records. When they memory-hole their overreach, we’ll have receipts.

Thanks for the the supportive comment, a lot of these ‘issues’ magically disappear when you shine light on them. Having said that, they will probably try again just before Xmas when everyone is distracted.
