A few things always need adjusting on a new bike, because people come in all shapes and sizes…
The clutch and brake levers need adjusting either higher or lower to make the levers easier to use.

The gearchange lever is the same. I prefer to have it at just the right height so both up and down gearchanges are a breeze. Adjustment is by adjusting the length of that rod in the middle of the photo.

The headlight was adjusted far too low which meant it was far too easy to outrun the headlight at night. I had several goes at getting right, but it was well worth the trouble.

Enjoy your new bike. It’s fortunate you can make the adjustment yourself when needed. Stay safe! ๐

That must be a pretty fast bike, if you can outrun the headlight.
