Three years ago, I helped out at the Wellington Anti mandate protest.
It’s a bit of a cliché, but I’m proud to have worked alongside some of the nicest people I’ve ever met in a common struggle against vaccine mandates and discrimination against unvaxxed kids.
They were typically from all over the country. They were everyday people you would normally meet -an artist, a fisherman, nurse, plumbers, etc. Some of them were real characters with a strong sense of integrity.
I will always remember them fondly, but perhaps more importantly, I’ve taught my kids to stand up for what you believe in, no matter what.
I took some final photo’s last week before I left, because I had a nagging doubt it would end soon acrimoniously.
And so it came to pass.

Below is the only interview that ‘Voices for Freedom’ did for the mainstream media a few days earlier. They generally dont deal with them on principle.

In conclusion, I have no regrets
They were the best of times in the worst of times.

I think that’s a good lesson to teach your kids.
