Covid Anger

As we move into summer, it traditionally turns into an exciting time as we head towards christmas. It’s a time when we go on holidays at the beach, catch up with family, etc.

Covid put a hold on that for several years, and the memories of that can leave you feeling a bit cheated if only because of lost opportunities. For example, the kids that got turfed out of university, the jobs lost, the overseas holidays cancelled with no refund.

It leads to anger and bitterness which is what I’m starting to see with people, now that everythings normal.

I guess it’s part of the process of dealing with the trauma of the covid years.

Anger can be contagious at times. The first step is to identify it for what it is, in order to move on.

P.S. WordPress could do with a spellchecker, because I suck at typing.

  1. I certainly haven’t forgotten about Covid restrictions. It’s the restrictions, not Covid itself, that continue to leave me wary and suspicious of the government. Covid could have been dealt with much more easily if it wasn’t for the ridiculous restrictions.

  2. I have spellcheck when I type a WordPress post. I even have it when I comment on posts. In fact, I made two typing errors while I was responding to you. One error, I left out a letter because I failed to hit the key hard enough, and another mistake when I struck two keysa (like this one I didn’t correct) at one time. A red line zips under it. Maybe you don’t have spellcheck activated. You can contact WordPress Help Desk and they’ll walk you through it-or a step-by-step will appear. 🙂
