Our new house is a bit run down, it seems the former owner slowly got less active over some years, which means I keep finding new things around the house all the time.
I found a bird house that was hidden in an overgrown hedge.
An annoying chirping sound that lived in the garage. You would hear it just for a few seconds every now and then, which made it hard to find. It turned out to be a smoke alarm with a flat battery hidden in the rafters (it took me weeks to find that)
Lots of rotting wood about, the more I look around , the more I find..
I’ve started a reunion of all the garden ornaments scattered about the place.
And my constant companion around the gardens, is our new cat who follows me everywhere.

The rafters in the garage appear to be in good shape. Congrats on your new four-legged friend that may help with unwanted critters around the house. You may need more cats with all that brush nearby! 🙂
