The Rugby world cup is on and it’s traditionally a big thing here in New Zealand.
This was NZ’s national sport, nothing else used to come close
But the last three years have taken a toll on me and I’m not the once proud Kiwi I used to be.
Covid has shown me how callous the average person can be, and when it turns out we were right, they just ignore the whole issue like nothing ever happened.
Yeah well, I haven’t forgotten how in 2020, the way that people who held the NZ flag at a protest were treated.
