I dont consider myself to be a petrolhead, even if the kids teacher thinks we all are.
But the day before Father’s day, the kids decided that we were going to spend a night playing board games, so I reluntantly went along with this.
So, to even things up, I said THATS IT, tomorrows Fathers days and we are doing Dad stuff!
It was a day filled with the noise of V8’s, and lots of smoke (plant food)
It was a V8 ‘run what you brung’ event, so it was road legal cars only.
Some of them might have been ‘road legal’, but were probably useless for everyday use. The faster ones were in this category.
The more practical ones were slower and quieter.
The day came to an end when a car crashed into a barrier.
I didn’t actually see all this, but I heard
OHH…..,
AHH…..,
OOHHH!
From the crowd as the car when right (missing the car in the other lane), then left, then crashed and caught fire.
(The driver was uninjured)
