Whenever the WEF gets mentioned, it brings up the ‘your a conspiracy nutter, therefore no one should listen to you’ narrative.
This kills any attempt at an objective analysis of the WEF altogether, (and where there is smoke, perhaps there is actually a fire).
The WEF is lead by Klaus Schwab, who has held that position for a very long time (perhaps too long).

One could write these off as the mumblings of an old man past his prime, therefore mostly harmless. The problem with that analysis is the huge influence they can have over members of a Government (and therefore the Government itself).
They have even boasted about their influence.

NZ’s former PM, Jacinda was right under their spell.
Influence here in NZ is via donations to political parties.
Political parties are desperate for funds, especially in election year. I saw this personally when I supported the ACT party at the last election. (It seems one of their ‘donors’ even kindly wrote their covid policy for them).
(If you ever wanted to know why the ACT party ‘of freedom’ inexplicably supported the mandates/lockdowns, etc) re-read the last paragraph.
Should we take the WEF seriously?
Yes we should, people with too much money can have far too much influence than they rightfully should have.
(much like that crazy old aunt, who uses her inheritance money to control her kids lives)
Should we have anything to do them?
No! -The Goverment should be accountable to it’s own people and only them, not some unelected foriegners with a patronising ‘we know whats best for you attitude’
