The covid ‘pandemic’ is basically over, except for the faithful few.
I’ve always been expecting Joe public to wake up to the fact that maybe they have been ‘had’. It’s taken me a while to realise that the big wake up isn’t going to happen, and this may be a blessing in disguise. If they ever wake up, they might realise that,
- The vaccine never worked. https://thebfd.co.nz/2022/07/13/hiding-in-plain-sight/
- MIQ was a pointless exercise. https://thebfd.co.nz/2022/04/20/the-govt-knew-miq-was-pointless/
- Adverse effects form the vaccine can’t be ignored forever. https://hatchardreport.com/heart-attacks-have-increased-by-83-percent/
- The Government knew about the adverse risks all along. https://thebfd.co.nz/2023/01/17/they-knew-and-they-hid-the-information/
If they ‘woke up’ to these facts, perhaps they might be just a little bit pissed off about whats been happening for the last three years.
The last thing we need is lots of angry people out there.
Perhaps, therefore, having everyone asleep is a good thing, except that New Zealand has gone dramatically backwards in the last few years.
- Violent crime is up 33%. https://www.kiwiblog.co.nz/2023/03/violent_crime_up_33_under_labour.html
- The country’s debt has been doubled.. https://www.ceicdata.com/en/indicator/new-zealand/national-government-debt
- The Health sector is still struggling after they mandated staff out of their jobs and they still haven’t allowed them back. https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/politics/the-frustration-is-just-boiling-over-longer-wait-times-blamed-for-increased-abuse-in-health-settings/W7KVKNUVAFD4RAO5ISOXRY26N4/
- Inflation is now starting to pick up. https://www.nzherald.co.nz/business/food-prices-skyrocket-by-largest-annual-increase-in-32-years/25HSF5RF4BFGDM2D6XLGB7IYFQ/

The government is likely to be re-elected later this year.
It’s not an ideal outcome for the good of the country, but if the majority are happy about where NZ’s going, so be it.
It does illustrate that politics can't fix NZ's problems. A possible answer lies in changing the NZ's culture towards one of accountibility and self responsibility.
It’s rather a bit like been on the Titanic and the other passengers aren’t concerned about any predicaments. Part of me thinks I should be concerned on their behalf, another part of me thinks I have no obligation to them. Therefore, I’m simply going to think and act locally only.
Hopefully this will be the last post I need to do on covid, since even the WHO has decided the pandemic is over
Thats all for now.
