Happy new year!

It’s the start of a challenging new year for us here in NZ, but we have planned accordingly, so we will see how it all pans out in the long run. The hysteria that pervades New Zealand at the moment is slowly disapating as I thought it would over the summer holiday’s.

We spent the day with another family we barely know, but they have the same views as we do about that ‘C’ and ‘V’ thing.

Between us, we had 7 kids, a boat, kayak, boogie boards and lots of water which made for a special care free day for all of us.

We have a month of summer holidays to go, before school starts in February, so we are packing in as much fun as we can, while we can.
